FRANKS AND BEANS!  FRANKS AND BEANS!

I think it's more dependent upon your operating system than the mobo.  If you have XP, or XP with SP1, you'll have problems with larger disks, I think.  If you have SP2, then you should be fine.

Are you planning to reload the OS, or just add a disk?

i have XP sp2.

probably just adding the disk.   not sure what the benefits would be by reloading o/s on new disk unless it was a faster disk.

using an 80 gig now, and i can't find my install disk #1 for my bf2, so i think i have to keep it, otherwise, i would just go with a new HD altogether.

I have 5. Two for winders/apps in a raid 0, one I had planned to add to make it raid 5, but haven't yet done so, and two for music/video. And that doesn't count the 1TB NAS, the 500GB usb or the other two computers.

Although, I bet Jerry was just talking about his primary drives, not all his data drives, right? grin

Have a couple 200 gigs HD's laying around. Was going to buy a couple 500 gig drives, will probably wait and just through them in my Mac.
